NXS
I purchased this scope over 15yrs ago. It is hands down the best purchase I have ever made, when it comes to optics. I have had the scope on several rifles , the current being a Rem 7005R in 6.5 Creedmoor. Once sighted in, I know the scope will be on and will be consistent with the dope I have on whatever rifle and round the scope has been on. It is tough and better than well made. The glass isn’t as good as the newer models from Nightforce but it is still worlds better than any other American made optic I own. If I had the funds, all my rifles would have a Nightforce on them.

I purchased one of these when I turned 50. I didn't have the coin to buy an ATACR but boy, I'm sure glad I did purchase the NXS 5.5-22x56 in MOAR reticle. I absolutely love the reticle, it is so well thought out and the thickness is great for my eyes, not to thin. I have used a KHALES Helia C 2.5-10x50 in German 4 reticle for deer for a decade. Great optic but limited in range and being able to get nice tight groups due to the reticle thickness. When I went to the NXS, I looked at the sight picture and said wow, I still say wow. I was now able to make neck shots on large Sambar Deer to 250+m. The glass is great, not amazing or ATACR level but very good quality and low light performance is there. The illumination is very useable. I am going to keep stretching this thing out. In one year, with the night force 40MOA base and ultralight rings, I have hardly needed to adjust. I cull Sambar Deer here in Australia and this scope is a perfect tool for humane, precision shots with my heavy barrel 300 win mag. My main driver for the purchase was repeatability, in the right light, the optics are wow.
