Saved several hundred dollars on a showroom demo, still got a pristine model. Hard to imagine a more high quality scope; the glass is immaculate with no distortion even at 35x. The MIL-XT reticle is perfect with multiple brightness levels in both red & green. Adjustment clicks are tactile and audible, and align precisely with the elevation marks. Magnification is stiff enough to be confident it won't slip, but not so tight that it's difficult to turn and the throw lever it just the right height. Got it in an ADM mount on a Nemo Omen, and I think .300 Win Mag will reach 1km easy. Definitely going to consider Nightforce first when looking for a high quality scope again.

Awesome optic! I haven't used a large variety of optics in the past but this guy is crystal clear glass, has a great finish, textile clicks for elevation and windage, great choices for reticles, and just overall phenomenal build quality. It's pricey but I feel I got what I paid for! Thanks nightforce, love your scopes.

I have this scope on my Sako TRG 22 and TRG 42. I used the former for the precision rifle courses at the Sig Sauer Academy and was able to shoot groups under 1 inch and 200 years and make consistent hits on steel at 1000 years. I am convinced that NF scopes have the clearest glass available. This NF scope clearly outperformed a Schmidt and Bender PM-II that I have on another rifle. Also, the adjustments for elevation and windage are the most precise and repeatable of any scope that I have.

As one of the founders of Vudoo and built the first 1,000 rifles and am asked about rifle optics. My honest answer was the ATACR 7-35, it's what I have on my rifle. With the MOA I have in the base and SPUHR mount I'm zeroed at 25 yds and can dial to 575 yds. I know putting such an optic on a rimfire sounds excessive but I believe it squeezed the extreme accuracy out of my rifle.
