I have been an avid Vortex Razor fan for years. Mostly because they offer a significant discount to LEOs military. But I have to say that Nightforce is top notch. Not just the glass and clarity, which are excellent. It's the little things that you should expect when paying thousands of dollars for a scope: Integrated thumb throw lever Tenebrex lens covers Quality torx tool Battery Lens cloth with pouch and clip hook High quality decals (which we all love) Hell, the Nightforce cantilever mount even even has the torque specs printed on it. The little things show their engineers listen to their customers. Definitely worth the . I may never buy Vortex again.

I have mounted many of these scopes on customer rifles before delivery. No failures, they are the best long range hunting scope we have ever used and the drop dial returns to zero every time without issues. Optics are clear and crisp even out to 1,000 yards and beyond. With 4x magnification on the bottom, it is easy to pick up moving targets at close range. 32X magnification on top lets you reach out for those animals at the longer ranges in the field. Simply one of the best rifle scopes ever made for big game hunting. John Lazzeroni

This was my first NF scope. I will buy another one soon. I love the capability to go down to 4x and up to 32x. I primarily use it for hunting. I am able to zoom in to identify horns but also can take close shots if needed. Quality is outstanding! I will have a second one. Don't second guess it, buy it. You will not be disappointed.

I decided on the NX8 line of scopes, I read the reviews all over online. I got to look thru both the 2.5 20 and the 4 32 NX8's. I easily chose the 4 32x50 F1 mil reticle as it got mounted on a 300 prc and the eye relief is better on the bigger of the two. This scope is a big upgrade from the Leupy 4.5 14 (good glass) but just couldn't return to zero after rotating the turrets lots. Nightforce is heavier than a few other options I was looking at, I would rather a reliable scope over something questionable when I've hiked hard or far. I love the zero stop, the glass is very good, the parallax works good. The illumination which is well thought out and definitely needed for hunting on the F1 version for close range elk hunting in the thick forests of northern B.C. The ability to stretch it out for long range practice is a confidence booster for when its time to chase stone's sheep. If there is a shot opportunity for meat in the freezer or an animal that will get hung on the wall, I want a reliable rifle scope.
