I bought a Savage 110 Precision from my FFL that was equipped with an NX8 4 32x50mm F2. It was his personal hunting rifle. This scope is so amazing that I just moved the NX8 onto my SCAR 20S. The glass clarity is incredible. Sighting in the SCAR, early one Summer morning, I could clearly see the Sun heated convection waves shimmering the crystal clear image of the target bullseye, at long range full magnification. I am so impressed with the clarity of the Nightforce optics, the elevation zero stop, the distinct turret clicks, and the tough scope structure, that I just purchased an ATACR 7 35x56mm F2 for the ‘naked’ Savage.
I am not a hunter. Simply one hell of a shot and I have loved 60 years of hitting a paper target bullseye since I was 7 years old shooting my Dad’s lever action Daisy BB gun.

I love this scope! It is perfect for all shooting situations, I use it more for hunting but you could definitely use it for competition shooting. This scope tracks amazingly well, I’ve never had a problem with it and it can take a beating like no other scopes I’ve used. I have banged it multiple times while in the mountains and it has never lost zero. I would highly recommend this scope to anyone. My only gripe, if you can even call it a gripe, is the parallax adjustment doesn’t have ranges to allow you to adjust to the distance you’re shooting quickly. Great scope nonetheless. I love it.

I bought a Vortex in the store for $600, it was broken as they were about to mount it for me. So the excellent return policy didn’t need to be utilized because it was broken out of the box. So I upgraded to a $700 Zeiss. Took it home and after zeroing for a few minutes I took it back. The short preview of the NX8 4-32×50 scope with the illuminated crosshairs and the parallax adjustment for my glasses sold me. It is such an incredible scope. My new rifle is my dream rifle; Browning Xbolt Hell’s Canyon LR Max Creedmore 6.5 (for my price range at least). I never thought a scope would make my rifle so much better. Now with this package it makes my other scopes pale in comparison. I am so sold on this scope, just amazing. 2nd focal point is amazing.

This thing is unbelievable! The clarity of this glass far exceeded what I expected. I have vortex fury 5000 bino’s, which in my opinion have good glass, but this scope FAR exceeds that quality. The reticle is perfectly clear at all magnification and the parallax knob easily dials in at all levels. The ability to switch from red or green illumination is a super nice feature to meet your preferred color or situation. The actual magnification is truly insane. There is a radar station 7.5 miles from my house, and at 32x I could easily make out details like the railings on the walkways. Granted, I’ll never shoot 7+ miles, but if it gives you that kind of reach, anything under 1000yrds shouldn’t give you much issue. I e always heard to spend the same amount on glass as the rifle. This was actually more than my rifle, and worth every single penny!!
